Description: Located within the sprawling Taji camp, Al-Harith consisted of five large repair workshops, as well as several maintenance and administrative buildings. The equipment at the site was specifically designed for the maintenance and repair of SA-2, SA-3, and SA-6 air defense missiles and ground equipment. UN inspectors were concerned that Iraq might use the site to modify the SAMs into an SSM role, although no evidence to that effect was detected. Approximately 75-100 engineers and technicians worked at Harith, which had about 1,500 employees in total.
