Description: The missile base at T'ŏ'gol was reportedly under construction as of October 1999. In October 1999, there were conflicting reports regarding the type of missiles deployed at T'ŏ'gol. There were reports of three Scud-C missile battalions with a total of 40 missiles deployed around T'ŏ'gol; however, there were other reports of three Nodong missile battalions deployed there. The Nodong battalions reportedly have nine launchers per battalion. [Note 1: The base could be configured to handle both Scud and Nodong missiles; Note 2: There is another "T'ŏ'gol" in Kŭmch'ŏn-kun, North Hwanghae Province, which is adjacent to Pyŏngsan-kun, North Hwanghae Province.]
