Communications

Evelyn Hunter serves as a summer intern for NTI’s Communications team. In this role, she supports the communications staff on a variety of projects, including public awareness efforts such as the Cranes for our Future campaign.

Evelyn is from Atlanta, GA and she is a rising senior at the University of Georgia. She majors in International Affairs and Political Science with a minor in International Human Rights and Security. In Fall 2023, Evelyn was in the 8th cohort of the Public Affairs Professional Certificate program on the Applied Politics track- an interdisciplinary certificate between the School of Public and Internatioanl Affairs and the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications at UGA. In Spring 2024, Evelyn studied abroad at the University of Oxford as an associate member of Keble College for the Hilary Term where she took courses in political economy and international law.In the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, Evelyn will participate in the Center for International Trade and Security’s Richard B. Russell Security Leadership Program at UGA where she will continue to engage her nuclear security interest, leadership development, and research skills.
