Virtual Meeting of the Global Nuclear Order Project’s Senior Advisory Group

NTI Co-Chair and CEO Ernest J. Moniz convened a virtual meeting of the Senior Advisory Group (SAG) for NTI’s Global Nuclear Order project. The meeting reviewed and provided feedback on interim findings from Phase 2 of the project, which identified baseline principles to which states should recommit and concrete steps states could take consistent with those principles to reestablish a foundation for reducing nuclear risks across the Euro-Atlantic and Asia-Pacific regions. SAG participants also offered guidance to shape the remainder of Phase 2 and focused on the enduring challenges related to the global nuclear order and the need to develop a policy blueprint for managing a more complex future.
