Virtual Meeting of the Global Nuclear Order Project’s Senior Advisory Group

NTI Co-Chair and CEO Ernest J. Moniz convened the inaugural virtual meeting of the Senior Advisory Group (SAG) for the Global Nuclear Order project. The meeting reviewed the key findings and conclusions from Phase 1 of the project which analyzed trends regarding nuclear risks and strategic issues in the Euro-Atlantic and Asia-Pacific regions and examined common and divergent interests among key states. SAG participants also provided views and guidance on the second phase of the project, which aims to identify concrete steps states could take to stop—and begin to reverse—the deterioration of regional and global security environments.
