Mark Melamed serves as deputy vice president for NTI's Global Nuclear Policy Program. Prior to joining NTI in 2019, Melamed worked on arms control and security issues in various roles within the U.S. government.

Michelle Nalabandian is currently on a 24-month assignment to the U.S. Department of Defense. Until her departure in September 2019, she served as program officer for Global Biological Policy and Programs.

Dr. Hamburg is an internationally recognized leader in public health and medicine. She is a former Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), having served for almost six years. Dr. Hamburg currently serves as chair of the NTI | bio Advisory Group.

Dr. Nafis Sadik was special advisor to the UN Secretary-General and special envoy for HIV/AIDS in Asia and Pacific. She consistently called attention to the importance of addressing gender, population and development issues and, particularly, the inclusion of women in decision-making and carrying out of development policy.

Page Stoutland, NTI’s vice president for Scientific and Technical Affairs, joined the Nuclear Threat Initiative in 2010.

Considered one of the most influential chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in history, Admiral Mike Mullen takes a fresh approach to the most important geopolitical issues of the 21st Century, including America’s position in the world and how economic health directly impacts our national security. Michael A. Peterson is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, a non-partisan organization dedicated to addressing America’s fiscal challenges and building a stronger economic future.

Richard Johnson was senior director for fuel cycle and verification at the Nuclear Threat Initiative. Richard previously served as the deputy lead coordinator (acting) for Iran Nuclear Issues at the U.S. Department of State, having also served as assistant coordinator for Iran Nuclear Issues.

Pierre Lellouche is the former Deputy of Paris. He was a Member of the French Parliament from 1993-2017. Representing the center of the French capital since 1997, he is currently member of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the French National Assembly and member of Paris city Council.
