Jack Brosnan joined NTI in August 2019 as a program officer for the Materials Risk Management program. In this role he supports the Nuclear Security Index, and Gender Champions in Nuclear Policy.

Igor S. Ivanov is a Professor at Moscow State Institute for International Relations. Previously, he served as Minister of Foreign Affairs, from 1998 to 2004, and Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, from 2004 to 2007.

Judge Hisashi Owada was appointed to the International Court of Justice in The Hague in early 2003. Before being appointed to this post, he served as President of the Japan Institute of International Affairs.

Carmen MacDougall joined NTI in May 2010. She had been a consultant with The Harbour Group, a public affairs firm in Washington, DC, and also headed communications for the Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism.

Cathy Gwin is one of the founding staff members of the Nuclear Threat Initiative and has played a critical role in advancing NTI's public education and outreach mission.

Sherwood-Randall is a Distinguished Professor of the Practice at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Nunn School of International Affairs and a Senior Fellow at its Strategic Energy Institute. She is also a Senior Fellow at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and advises several U.S. National Laboratories.

Deepika Choudhary joined the Nuclear Threat Initiative in May of 2020 and serves as a director on the Communications team. She is responsible for providing dedicated communications support and strategy to three of NTI’s program teams— Global Nuclear Policy, Materials Risk Management, and Science and Technical Affairs— while leading one of the organization’s public education campaigns.

Charles B. Curtis was founding president and COO of NTI. He has served as under secretary, deputy secretary and acting secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy. He was executive vice president and COO of the United Nations Foundation (UNF) and was a partner in Hogan & Hartson, a Washington-based law firm.
